@Spacesh1p- Have you heard any tracks from Hammer Of The Witches? That would actually be a good place to go after the first 4 albums.

Disagree hard with Hawks. Only listen to Darkly and Manticore if you're a completest. Should probably stay away from Damnation and A Day as well. Everything else is worth checking out.

That's what I said though Brandon..... Hahaha you just added Damnation to the "don't jam" list there. ;]

Frost On Her Pillow is decent but even that is a bit dull.

WHOOPS. Misread your comment hahaha. The best track off those two albums is "Forgive Me Father (For I Have Sinned)" imo. Everything else kind of sucks.

I mean I dig them to an extent, but they're completely forgettable for the most part. I still dig Damnation though. There's a lot of filler, but it does contain a few of the best tracks they've ever made.

I love the first half of Nymphetamine and all of Thornography (that's the "unpopular" opinion though) and Godspeed definitely has its moments. But yeah, as much as I love this band, some of their albums are trash.

Nymphetamine and Thornography both slay, I dig Godspeed pretty hard too, but I mean you could probably even skip out on that one then come back to it later if you want.

listening to thorn, it's a complete mess of ideas like all the albums that follow it

Really? I think it's pretty linear in comparison to most of their

It reminds me of how their later works felt like a dartboard of influences and ideas just thrown haphazardly everywhere, but the influences are simpler and more straightforward

this isn't necessarily bad, and definitely leaves the gate open for someone to really enjoy it, but i don't think that's gonna be me

Thornography riffs hard which is what I love most about it. I'm even a sucker for Temptation.

Plus you gotta love Rise of the Pentagram.

The riffs are the best thing Thornography has going for it.

I love the vocals on that album too. The only thing that really bothers is the production on the drums.
