Wow that indeed sounds like some kind of weirdly specific dislike.

Some Sniff dude.

I always wondered how the hell you get the time to rate 5000+ albums (if you're not just listening to a couple songs then rating and moving on, or you're old as fuck), and hes already rated 7 albums just today....theres no way hes spending time, or going back to a large amount of these.

I should've paid more attention to this sooner. It's insane how good it is.

1. I'm old af.
2. I have a job that allows for 7 albums to be thoroughly jammed and rated, and I come back to most of them.
3. Sniff is the coolest of dudes, even if he doesn't like this, everyone can have opinions!

IFWWW just edges this, the guitar tone Ben achieved on Time Is Dancing/Evergreen/EOTA is my favourite of all-time. Nothing makes me feel as isolated and sad as those three songs back to back, musically that is, lyrics are brilliant too but it’s more the guitars.

Yeah, IFWWW is, sonically, something very special, especially from someone who released an album as innocuous as Every Kingdom. The songs are also more tightly structured than on this, I think. That feels deliberate, though. I might 5 this for a little.

Opener is so so so lovely, rest of this is proving a bit slippery for me

That's what I said too Dylan, just didn't dig the rest of it as much but now "The Defeat" is practically on par with it, and I love the rest more and more (;

Neek this better be worth the listen or I won't forgive you for lumping me in with people that listen to Cannibal Corpse

I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t still be a 4 if I relistened to this but I don’t really have enough desire to respin it to see

This is one step above something you'd find at a Starbucks.
