I guess I’m not surprised you’re getting behind this album Chuck, just to a 5/5 level is hard to get my head around - an equal rating to Kanye’s best work? I guess it’s more of a statement piece, not just the music. You’re invested in his artistic development in and of itself? What do you rate lower than this from him?

its a serious rating, i enjoy all of this, i can see how some find ye annoying and i sort of do too but even at his most annoying i just giggle at him and move on to enjoying the succulent ear candy
i like how it was a quickly completed project in the face of people taking forever to complete work these days, seem like an ode to the days when bands didnt think so hard and just made music and put it out all the time, i think i heard sabbath recorded master of reality in the midst of touring within a day or three?
i like how its short, makes it easy to listen to and goes against the trend thats been annoying me for years now with the stream service economy influencing artists into making bloated albums
i like how its honest and highly personal
