It depends really. Some guys just go out there and do nothing for their vocal health. Like Adele, she smokes, drinks, has destructive technique and whines when she runs into problems. She's like 30 and had 3 surgeries

Alright I listened to Sonder again last night free of the strings of my initial huge disappointment, all this time later, and it was better than I remembered. Way better actually. I'll never like Smile, but just about everything else grooved pretty well.
I think the chief problem with it, like everyone says, is the length. It's not just a short album, but to me it means songs that don't get to breathe or linger on their most interesting moments. It's detrimental to how I enjoy Tesseract. But to each their own!
Hell yeah guys, give Covenant by Unprocessed a listen. A lot of fun, bouncy, groovy, heavy, and atmospheric moments that remind me of Tesseract and other likeminded artists. Love the prodocution too. "Malleable" has a killer riff that's been stuck in my head since it came out.
Also definitely listen to their new single "Abandoned". Just astonishing. New album soon I think.

Smile continues to be my favorite from this for the heaviness in the 2nd half, but Juno probably still ranks as best from the album.

OK guys I'm really off topic now, but also check out Stargazer. Both Tui La and Genesis. Shit djents hard, as much as I cringe while typing that. Incredible melodies and groove. They're also pretty unknown and it kills me. Just ratings on Sputnik, no review. If you're ever needing some new music to be productive or game to.

Juno is among their 10 best songs

Easily! I read somewhere that the ban didn't like Juno that much, which I don't get. It's probably the most obvious highlight imo, especially compared to Luminary and Beneath My Skin/Mirror Image

I liked Luminary when it was released, but it doesn't have any staying power. Just a bland song overall

Hey fellas just wanted to pop in and remind you all to check out the new Valis Ablaze album, "Render". It took a couple listens to differentiate the song and choruses, but I think this might be a new all-time fav for me. Similarish instrumentation to Tesseract since Valis originally mimed their tone a bit, but nothing has hit such emotional climaxes in metal for me since Polaris. It's fucking stellar.
I know I throw a lot off recs at you guys in random threads but you need to give this baby a listen. Ascent and States of Decay are so beautiful I could cry. This is the type of passion and emotion I don't see in prog metal much anymore. Fucking killer.

Bummer. None of it stuck? IMO King / Juno / Smile -> The Arrow are some of the best songs Tesseract have ever done. By far my biggest gripe with this album is that there isn't more of it.
