I've only very casually listened to this band before but this album is drawing me in. It has such a lush atmosphere. The vocals could probably do with being more dynamic but there is a lot of subtle variation the more I listen. Also, can relate to user coldheaven's comments about being in a particularly apt life stage for appreciating this.

I just relistened to Keep you the other day, and I still can't get past how slow moving tracks 7-9 are. It's just a crawl to get through them before Say Anything. I don't find the same issues with this one.

I can't see this as underrated. Any stylistic shift of this magnitude is going to attract criticism, whether one finds it deserving or not. It's quite thew separation from what they're most known for as I see it, so naturally divisive opinions are struck.
