Then youre listening to it wrong. Stop waiting for things to happen because you have a preconception that something NEEDS to happen. Its ONE 80 minute track not a 4 minute. Listen to the WHOLE 80 mins Stfu. Stop going on Sputnik to say HEY IM 8 MINS ON AND NOTHINGS HAPPENING. Because if you cant take it in as a whole piece of music you wont get it OR like it.

my major demands a shit-ton of writing and language study, but I can't do either without some sort of music/background music. idk if it helps/means anything, however if you put this on while doing something stationary i.e. video games or w/e, it definitely becomes an appropriate listen because it can be so easy to get lost in. I have an easy time sitting and focusing on music that tends to feel like it's moving nowhere, though, and can still enjoy myself. dunno if this means shit.
