Thank the Lorde (pots)

I'm hoping I'll personally find some of the dissonance you've been referring to as effective and deliberate as it is here tho cuz thats really what separates this from 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, and those 3 singles all remind me more of the latter than this one

'Anyways, regardless, "rigidly structured" is a terrible way to describe The OOZ' (2)
And yeah I don't really dig 6 Feet for similar reasons, so hopefully the new 'un is more like this than that one.

I'm slapping a preliminary 4 on this bad boy
Some fantastic standouts but the album as a whole is so cohesive and atmospheric that it can only go up.

Two songs in and I'm already unsettled... probably a good thing considering The Ooz

Are u oozing for a bruising?

I wish the new album was a bit longer, his languid wandering style is present, but the length is that of something much more concise. I wanna get lost in that shit.
I don't even have a fully-formed opinion on the strength of the individual tracks yet (probably not the best 'setting' for round 1), so I'm reserving judgement for now. It just seemed like it was over prematurely, unlike this one.

On first listen it's a cool atmospheric and jazzy record

new album is a winner

it's far more outwardly emotional and less blobby than the Ooz

Blobby... are you saying he trimmed the fat? I like the fat.
Silliness aside I'm liking it, the hazy production is sublime and although I do feel the odd yearning for less brevity, what's actually there is mostly on point.

When I say blobby I mean it in the sense of the languid, oppressive atmosphere that album had. I mean that as a compliment. Man Alive on the other hand has a greater clarity.

For the record I understood your meaning from the off, was just messing around with the blobby/fat thing. And yeah I can definitely see that.
