Just didn't work for me, this. I tried to like it for a little while, but I just don't see what's great about it. Star Roving is great. If the album was full of songs similar to that, I'd love it.

To me it feels like shining waves under a starry night sky, it's beautiful, even though some individual tracks fall kinda short (Everyone Knows for example), but that feeling it has in its best moments, e.g. Slomo, Sugar for the Pill and, like you said, Star Roving, really resonates with me. It's a very intuitive album though and that's why I couldn't just explain some things and make you understand what I like about it. It works or it doesn't work. That said, the guitar sound and overall production is so lush and beautiful, I really like it.
