it's so funny that people randomly chose this band to call out vocals as though they don't realize what genre they're listening to. Imagine if this album had generic black metal vocals. It would not be improved.

I just don't enjoy them, and think I would enjoy Saor more if they had different vocals. I don't think that's the most out there opinion honestly

Vocals no problem no problem for me, just guitar riffs. Generic riffs ruin most metal. Aura is notable cause it mastered the whole epic flute crescendo blastbeat trope in every song.

aura had better production, emotional peaks and atmosphere. not to mention lunn's incredible drumming. it made going for the same atmosphere again feel so pointless - i mean yeah, i enjoy this album when it's on but next to aura it has virtually no impact and the new single is exactly the same. it feels chronologically like this album should have come before it.



i don't understand why people say aura had bad production - it sounded practically perfect for the atmosphere it was going for.

I cant really explain whats so bad about it compared to other lo fi recordings. Mb how loud the drums are? After a while the blastbeats just annoy me. Its bad in comparison to the debuts production imo, A weakness but ive heard worse.

i disagree - i love the raw energy in the drums. mixed perfectly.

The energy is certainly there but I just think it clashes in a way that isnt pleasing to me. Its overbearing everything else on the album most of the time
