On first listen, several things. It sounds like an hyperdroned version of Marriages, which is cool, no acoustic tracks which is somehow disappointing, it sounds heavy af, with a great atmosphere but lacks the magic melodies that her previous albums had. I am settled on a 4.5 for now but might even end up in a 4.



I'll take Evok's word in that it is a grower but right now I feel the uniformity and consistent sound of the album might work agains it in the long term. My favourites are still the first two singles plus Control maybe.
