One of the most awful records ever recorded. Tedious, melodramatic, monochromatic and downright BORING. Stephen and Mikael tag-teamed this album front to back with cliches of bygone progressive rock lore. Stephen was even upset at Mikael for being so derivative. Mikael sobbed for hours to save the friendship. Now, rumor has it they are recording another collab album that will feature members of Wu-Tang and King Crimson fame.

finally jamming now. Chrysalis riffs and sound like the most legitimately Opethian track so far. The rest not so much.

I had a little trepidation going into this album, but I was blown away. Instantly fell in love with it. Not understanding all the hate for this. It's nowhere near a 1.

I think Strange Brew holds that title for me right now. Doing work whilst jamming this and I totally forgot I was even listening to this album until halfway through that song, then had a hard time remembering what I was listening to.

Era is best yeah. Idk this feels a lot more like an Opeth album than the previous two did if that makes sense.

A Fleeting Glance would be a 10/10 if it wasn't for that prog riff they like to reuse so much.

This album is fine. Nothing ground breaking, but hardly worth all these people giving it fucking 1s.

More or less how I feel, this is very enjoyable and stronger than Pale Communion overall. It and this can't beat Heritage or Watershed though

Title track is great. Haven't listened to the rest tho, I'll be doing that soon I think.
