I'm willing to the take radio pop rock here as it is; aesthetically pleasing and inoffensive but made up of utterly shallow tracks that aren't really anything more than just radio fodder. Other people don't put up with that junk and don't excuse it, so low scores aren't ridiculous from my perspective. I give the botd and don't feel like being snarky, though, thus the 2.5.

@Zaru: Here's the thing, this isn't just typical radio pop rock though; the songwriting along and technical proficiency in the instrumentals make sure of that. Arguably the production and even the vocal performance could be considered radio friendly, but that's a stretch still.

dos is definitely my least favorite green day album. there is no album in the trilogy that i like more than 21st century breakdown, but like i said, i have weird history with 21st century breakdown. i might review it, or at least make a list about it. i have very personal things to say about it
