Nah this is way too poorly constructed to be "okay", the riffs are extremely basic, the backing instrumentals are almost nil, the hooks do nothing to make the songs interesting, and the lyrics give the impression that Cudi has no idea as to what he is even doing. In addition to that half the songs on this 90 minute album consist of nothing but unfinished demos and studio outtakes.
So yeah while this isn't the abomination against mankind everyone is making this out to be, it's way too poorly thought out and has way too many serious issues to classify even as"okay"
So yeah this year has had a lot worse in terms of bad albums
