Finally listened to this. Yeah the singing is the worst part, its not terrible though. This is definitely a worthy addition to their discog. Still waiting on that 5 album though. But its probably too far down the road for that to happen.

I don't get the wankfest or lack of atmosphere criticisms at all. There's plenty of atmospheric guitar textures like in Water Landing, and simple enough heavy metal sections in the shorter songs to provide plenty of variety, along with all the prog madness. I like the vocals, though I can understand people not hearing passion, but that's just the style when it comes to a lot of these bands.
