I really enjoyed this. I don't think it's amazing or ground breaking, but it was definitely an enjoyable listen if you enjoy post-rock and its derivatives

Challenger is yes

I managed to listen to the first 3 songs. I flat-out don't like the first half of the first song, at all. Then it gets a little better. I like their general aesthetic, it's right up my alley. But something about the songwriting just seems a little too linear and unrefined to me. I feel bad for slagging them off though (like with my TWDY comment). I sort of still stand by it because it is how it sounds to me. But it's not like I can do any better so I feel a bit cheap in taking shots at them.

The last 2 tracks are definitely the best on the album. I also hear the similarities to TWDY, but since I enjoy TWDY, I don't see it as too much of a problem. I can see why that would be a turn-off though, since it seems too much like a copy of something else rather than its own identity.
