Literally had a dream about seeing haste the day in a church basement with my buddy last night lmao

I probably just saw something and internalized it, but I'd like to think it was a premonition

man about all i could ask for. so happy. they have aged like a fine wine, love all of the atmospheric sections and touches. really mature album. stephen stole the show here. what a great performance. i'll save the rest for a review!

but adrift is absolutely gorgeous, did not expect that. phenomenal, one of their best. and oblivion maybe like top 10 htd as well? teeth is great as well, hell of a closing trio.

they did it man.

Haven't listened to this band in a very long time but hearing they have a new record out is exciting! Can transport myself back to the 2000s/early 2010s when I was listening to bands like this at church to cut out all the boring CCM I was regularly subjected to lmao

Oh man the new album is so fucking good, I'm so happy they nailed it.

Gnasher, Escape and Adrift are the highlights so far from the non singles (Shallows and Oblivion obviously being sick af)

Yeah the new album is very good, Adrift is an early highlight for me but I also love Oblivion and Gnasher.

The vocals on Grave go back and forth sounding like Spencer Chamberlain and Ryan Clark lol. Big fan of this so far

Still miss not having Jimmy Ryan's insane harsh vocals show up on the new album though.

Yeah Jimmy's screams really were one-of-a-kind. Wonder if he's got any plans to do any new music now that Trenches have broken up.

"Trenches are officially no more?"

I believe so, or at least on an indefinite hiatus. Maybe they'll resurface somewhere down the line.

Sucks but I'd expect nothing less from a band that took over a decade to follow up their first album
