Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks "Knives Out" sounds just like the slow part from "Paranoid Android"

Never been a huge fan of Knives Out. Probably my least favorite song on this.

It's not the exact same as PA's, but yeah I sorta see where you're coming from.

album's more dynamic but not quite as good as kid a.

'knives out' takes similar patterns from paranoid android but kindof runs with it in a different direction -- i think it's about as good as paranoid but they're too different to compare really.

also, here's one of my favorite b-sides that any fan of this should hear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5LT9X9F-YM

Can someone explain to me the extremely high regard of Pyramid Song? It's a good track, but people refer to it as the second coming. I just don't get it as much as I do most RH songs.

jumped in a river what did i seee? black eyed angels swammm with meeee

i absolutely adore pyramid song. it's soothing beyond all belief. i just float along with it wherever it takes me. it's about death but not in a sad way. despite no longer physically an entity, i seem to be fully content where i am, and as i drift aimlessly, so many of my memories blissfully pass me by. lyrically it's fascinating and his voice perfectly matches the minimalist instrumentation that come in in just the right amounts to a piano that hasn't ever quite been featured like it is here. it always brings me to a state of calm so tranquil... i never ever have a care in the world while it's playing.

but then again, i'm just a rambling fanboy ;)

Such a fanboy Andy. Pyramid Song IS the best Radiohead song though, every point you mentioned in that paragraph was spot on.

i gotta say everything in its right place and nude are both better. climbing up the walls is like right there too. oh and street spirit. but yea, pyramid song is really sweet -- maybe top 5, def top 10. but shit changes quickly in my mind so 'picture me giving a damn i said never'

This album has such a great vibe to it. I actually find it more intense than Kid A.

Favorite Radiohead song is How To Disappear Completely, but Pyramid song is freaking incredible. Climbing Up the Walls ftw as well.
