Suicide is another excellent track. You really can't go wrong on that album. I'd easily consider it Townsend's most heartfelt album. Nowhere near his best, but it's packed with all sorts of feels

I think the best thing about this album for me is how in songs like deep peace, the fluke, tiny tears, by simply multitracking his one amazing voice Dev manages to sound 10000x more angelic, beautiful, uplifting, holy etc than any full orchestral choir I've ever heard in my life

I actually don't really know how I'd rank the albums of his that I've heard - all I know is that Ocean Machine would be 1. Prob my favorite metal album atm

this takes a while to get going (not a huge fan of Mountain other than that 12/8 part in the middle) but once it does it's incredible. Probably gonna 4.5

Earth Day is plagiarized from a song called 'Ai Rai Bai', which I composed when I was 5.

Deep peace is phenomenal, that solo followed by "it's all going away now..." is one of those moments when you just stand back in awe at the sheer beauty of music.

As others have said, Terria takes a LONG time to grow on you. Give it time to reveal itself and you will fall in love, you won't regret it

This isn't disappointing atm fuck yea.

And yea a couple months ago I checked the first song of City KILL, but didn't seem like my cup of tea. However, I do love Casualties Of Cool, as well as Ghost and Addicted.
