Widlife is a masterpiece, River is a sad high school kid's diary set to competent music.

I never got the hype behind Wildlife, not when it came out and definitely not now. In fact, I was highly disappointed when it was released because I had hyped myself up for a new La Dispute album. The trio of King Park/Edward Benz/I See Everything is all that this album really has going for it. Spicy take, I know. Even spicier, Somewhere was 10x better and even this album is better than Wildlife.

That run is phenomenal but ugh there's so much more to that album. I'm with Hawks on this, Wildlife is a hard 5, even if his opinion on this album is wrong =)
