The song I dislike on this is Misunderstood an bits of The Test That Stumped Them All don't really work, but it's kinda quirky. 4.5 is right

About to Crash (reprise) or The Glass Prison is the best on this, for me

Ok, let me rephrase that. The song I like the least is Misunderstood. Everything else is untouchable

Haha gotcha dude. I love how experimental (for DT) the album is

Yeah, I'll definitely take it over anything from the s/t, SC or ADTOE

Misunderstood is definitely an experiment but I think it worked in their favor, sort of like These Walls

The ending and beginning of These Walls is actually really good, especially the strings/synths in the background at the end

You listened to the Thantifaxath record that dropped earlier this year? My AOTY so far. You're probably the one person I haven't harassed on this site about it and it might your kind of thing.

The pre-chorus and chorus are SO gorgeous, the reverb and warm tone of the piano just make this cover so good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUlKrFiOkJQ

Despite not being too crazy on the song their solos in constant motion is one of my favorite moments of SC

The solo is the best bit of the song, along with the traded vocal part between LaBrie and Portnoy. The chorus sadly kills

the entire song

Eh it's mediocre. I guess it's an ok song. Certainly better than forsaken or prophets of war

And Rudess plays a lot of tasteful parts, he's just so low in the damn mix that you only remember him

for the wanky solos and instrumental sections. Brilliant keyboard player.
