Win just seems like the biggest douche in music right now. Having said that I've still ordered this album as i'm curious to hear it.

How is Win a douche? Seems like a pretty sincere guy who loves his fans.

title track is still my favourite after 4 listens. particularly the part where the sax comes in and backing vocals are provided courtesy of David fucking Bowie

There's no fun in that though.

How anyone could be let down by this after The Suburbs is completely baffling.

If you're new to the band I could see this being divisive, but then again newbies should probably go back and listen to their

discography before making any proclamations about this album...it's Arcade Fire; perhaps I'm being a hipster douchebag but with

a band of their stature within the indie scene I feel as though a little bit of perspective with regards to their work is required.

yeah idk about you guys but for me the lyrics i've paid attention to in the suburbs really captures the emptiness of life in the suburbs, plus it's got same great tunes.

but yeah i should prob get more familiar with their older stuff, i think i've only listened to neon bible once

Too excited to give this a proper spin. Enough with reading about the record-- I want to listen to it already.
