I'm happy enough with the first 5 records and EP.

Ya, good reason not to listen to new music.

I listen to a select few contemporary bands, other than that I'm happy with older records. Too much music would mean I wouldnt have time to jam it regularly and theres no point having albums in your collection if you dont listen to them on a fairly regular basis.

This turned out to be pretty awesome after all.
Hope this line up gets the Queensrÿche title and releases something a bit more ambitious on the next album.

@NeroCorleone80 I agree. I feel like I've been gathering too much music lately. Nothing like listening to good ol' Mindcrime now and then.

I know there are some who say that Todd is a Tate clone, but he is so much more than that. He definitely puts his own stamp on it. Yeah, it's not the kind of departure that Van Halen made with replacing Roth with Hagar, but these guys are trying to give the fans what they have been asking for. That being said, Todd does some of his own thing on here. There are a few instances (i.e. "Don't Look Back") where Todd has a real Jimmy P. Brown vibe. Anyone remember him from that Christian Thrash metal band Deliverance. On "Don't Look Back" Todd reminds me of Brown's vocals on the Deliverance Learn album. I just can't stop listening to this album; it owns my Summer Album slot.

He isn't more than that....and what's even more amazing is how quickly everybody's going to stop listening to this.

Maybe you're right, Titan, but I damn sure like it. Music is funny that way; just like any art. Some people like it and some don't. For me though, this feels like it has some staying power, and I haven't felt that way about a Ryche album since Empire.
