This is more or less decent, production is pretty terrible though. Doesn't stand a chance against 90s AiC but that's obvious.

Duvall is no Layne, but he is a god send imo and from a technical standpoint a better vocalist. Black Gives Way to Blue was on par with the rest of their material, but this is a bit weaker. And the production on the new albums is pretty bad yeah.

I love their harmony vocals, but they've overdone them to hell on these last 2 albums. Plus the compression is ridiculous

Pretty high 4 for me, a lot of good tracks. Breath on a Window grew hard and now it's one of my favorite AiC songs. Those verses and the outro rule.
Never really noticed an issue with compression really.

Not much more than a 3 for me i'm afraid, this sounds a bit less inspired than black gives way to blue and production on this is pretty insufferable too.
