Gorgasm have better lyrics than CC, CC lyrics look like something a 6 year old wrote to scary his parents.

and its the generic music aswell, theres nothing original about it which warrants a 5 out of 5, its standard death metal, nothing new, nothing interesting, one dimensional lyrics, one dimensional vocals, style ect.

Immolation, Bolt thrower, Gorguts, ulcerate are all far superior. CC are a gateway band you think they are good when you first hear them but forget them when you discover lesser known better bands.

I'm not going to act like CC is one of the best bands ever, but I always enjoy them for a good bit of primal, brute force. They have technical moments, yeah, but I find them to be at their most fun and enjoyable when the moshpit is their main MO. Just a ton of fun

they were significant back in the day. This album in particular was noteworthy for the large number of copies it sold, which was pretty rare for a dm band to do in the mid 90's.
