Yeah I have heard all of ADD man, and as I said Howard his still incredible, at least when he's singing - I find his growls monotonous and fairly boring. But Jesse is just a much better lyricist and puts emotion into every single word he sings and I can't say the same about Howard. I suppose when it comes down to it, I think that Howard technically has a better range, etc. but Jesse puts in way more effort and uses his voice better.

Oh I really recommend both those albums. If you're just talking about AOJB I can agree with you preferring Howard but imo Jesse made monumental progress with his vocals since then, he's so much better on the later stuff. Also judging by the live songs that they've included as bonus tracks over the years, Jesse is infinitely better live than Howard.

Two of the best metalcore vocalists just happen to have been in the same band at one point. This isn't about Jesse vs Howard, this is about how Jesse and Howard are better than pretty much everyone else.

Disagreed, Jesse is a great lyricist and always writes from the heart, Howard was the just ok lyricist imo.

Agreed, I'll take Jesse over Howard but they're both top of the genre for sure.
