Still have some doubts as to how I'd rank their first 6.

III is my least fave of those, but IV, HotH and I are fairly even.

This is pretty even with II.

Best album discussions are okay for me on Zep because the playing

field feels a lot more even with these guys.

I'd probably put IV along side this as best Zeppelin but other than that I agree.

"I was about to comment on that person saying Presence was perfect and then I realized it was Ars so I didn't bother."

: (

I don't get you guys. What do I see in Presence that you don't?

I was saying that arguing with you is pointless, nothing against you just that our tastes differ greatly to the point that debate

would lead nowhere.

Stairway is a pretty divisive song: some dig it, some don't.

Bonzo's work on Out on the Tiles, When the Levee Breaks and Moby Dick all rules.

The only reason people don't like stairway is because their trying to be cool be liking more obscure Zeppelin.

What most people don't seem to understand is that most of tracks on Physical Graffiti and Presence were recorded in the same session.

Which confirms my feeling that Presence sounds like Physical Graffiti (Disc 3), always did.

Holy shit, a history debate.

I do believe much material on here (I think about 33%) consisted of leftovers from previous albums.

Zeppelin leftovers are still delicious

@Fripp: Hmm really? I've heard otherwise.

From what I heard a good amount of songs from both albums were original written during the Houses of the Holy sessions. Maybe their final versions weren't recorded together though, I may have gotten carried away there.

Yeah, mostly the second half of PH is from earlier songs off of HOTH.

Yeah great song.

"For Your Life" is the epitome of Robert Plant's sexiness. Album needs more love anyway.
