this is a bit like lorde but also not really. very slow with deliberate atmosphere.
the lyrics are obsessed with "the good ol' days' long passed. the story goes: she's a not so good girl, hopelessly in love and attached with a rather distant but cool and manly man (who's probably just a metaphor).

Matthew is INSANE. Funny thing is, The 2nd Law is Muse's worst album yet if I were to give a friend an album that best showcases how versatile his range is, I'd show them The 2nd Law. Some of the highest notes he's ever reached appears on a few songs (off the top of my head, Supremacy and Survival) and his silk smooth lower vocals like on Explorers and Madness.

Hey Alchemest, I consider you one of my of my own so im glad you appreciate Lana. If you have yet to check out Muse then definitely check out Absolution. Instead of checking out 2nd Law, sadly I suggest not wasting your time and just listen to Supremacy as it is the only song I really ever go back to. The only other one I even remember (other than the boring drab of Madness) was that for some reason I found Panic Station to be fun lol
