i dunno i'm not the most eloquent guy on this website but i like the way it tranquilizes you into a comfort zone and then disorients you with tempo changes and unexpected guitar notes while still retaining a feeling of beauty with the nature sounds and the soothing vocals and all that

'purple bottle' might be my fav animal collective song ever and 'did you see the words' is underrated, but i see most of this as a scattered and less accesible version of mpp. still, this is much closer to a 4 than a 3 and i enjoy it quite a lot
