Just seen a lot of posters here saying this is really their only worthwhile album. But the ratings are good.

i find Painting of a Panic Attack and Winter of Mixed Drinks to be pretty underrated here. im fine with Pedestrian Verse's average.

The Modern Leper—Fast Blood and My Backwards Walk— Floating in the Forth are amazing, but it sags in the middle with Old Old Fashioned — Head Rolls Off. Not bad at all. Just not good as the rest. That’s the only reason I stop myself from 5’ing this.

I used to not be able to sleep for fear of my own mortality - Head Rolls Off singularly helped me come to terms with the notion of death

Yeah I’ve emotionally connected deeply with almost every song here, which is why I have it a 5. But a few songs haven’t really dug their claws in me in that way yet — Head Rolls Off, Old Old Fashioned, The Twist.

I’ll pay closer attention to the lyrics for HRO next time.

I finally listened to Floating in the Forth for the first time since last year and I think it was a mistake.

Floating in the Forth carries so much extra meaning now, and it was already incredibly emotional.

Keep Yourself Warm is still the most bizarrely comforting song
