Does anyone else have fears about the double album idea?

Glad to know I'm not alone. The EPs are so brief that it's hard to add unnecessary tracks, but with a double album they could totally compromise the quality of the album for quantity. I love Trophy Scars to death and have faith in them to a degree, but their full-lengths don't really grip me like the EPs do.

i am not fearing the double album at all. two of their albums are my favorites of all time, and i honestly did not like either of these last two EPs at first. i think i had given darkness, oh hell a 2 when it first came out.

convinced that whatever this band does, they have put a ridiculous amount of thought/foresight into.

I agree with you to an extent- their last 2 EPs have been very promising. I'm nervous because I've heard Bad Dreams and I feel like it definitely had some filler, but a lot has happened with Trophy Scars since that album.

filler on bad dreams (i assume you mean bad luck)?

eh, i'm kind of a fangirl. honestly think this band hasn't put out a single song worth any substantial

criticism. it's a shame they aren't better known because i think they'd go down in history as a band

with the versatility (progression-wise) of radiohead.

remind me never to write a trophy scars review.

i wish i liked their post-hardcore stuff more. tbh, a lot of it just sounds like a poor man's Dance Gavin Dance to me.

i mean, i can't say enough good things about the band in its current form but still.
