It's funny, this has been on my "to buy" list since it came out when I heard "Whiskey & Ritalin." I felt like they were pretty prog when I first listened to them... funny how much my ear has changed in just a few short years. I can understand the comparison to radio rock. I mean, they aren't really radio rock, but if the most mainstream thing you listen to is... shit, I dunno... Porcupine Tree, then I could see how this would weather that comparison for someone.
For me it's like they were Icarus and radio rock was the sun and they constantly trying to see how close they could get before their wings melted. And they were good at it.
