Say hello

To the rugs topography

It holds quite a lot of interest with your face down on it

Give a fuck about an axe FX, their guitars sound amazing

lol i am not at all actually but i do think tone printing is lazy and lame. everyone prob has a limit and that is where mine begins. kind of doubt this was recorded that way. and they ruled live fwiw

I can't remember the details (I've never been able to afford enough gear to understand the ins and outs of this shit) but I do recall that there is some form of guitar processing that these guys allegedly pioneered or made very early use of in studio

Every time I re-listen to this I feel that the first half is underrated and then segue 3 onwards blows it out the water!

Is it fair to say the first 2/3 are a really solid 4-4.5 and then the final third is like a 5.5?

New single ‘Headstand’ is eery. Doesn’t sound like a straight rocker like bands normally drop as a single… makes me very excited for the new album in a few weeks time. Has the same experimental vibe as the back half of this album - very exciting.

Yeah Magnified rips. Have a soft spot for that thick alt-rock/alt-metal sound

Another new single on Spotify, this is shaping up to be a great album!

I didn’t really dig the last one outside of a couple of tracks but this is 2/2 so far

I can never fathom when people mention the last 4 songs. If memory serves me that leaves off The Nurse Who Loved Me, maybe the best song on the album.

So to set it right: The last 5 songs (+ the segue) are incredible

Album as a whole is amazing too, I recently listened to it and found myself jamming out to Blank, Pillowhead and maybe one other that I had never really cared so much for
