'Before you start panicking when looking at my ratings, remember that 3.0 is a good record, definitely worth listening to, and 3.5 is a must-listen in my scale.,'

he's actually right on, doesn't care for this record but isn't bashing it either

To me it looks like altertide takes a pleasure to drop his rating down. I mean look at his 3s and lower...all the treasure you can find there...

perhaps...but he's true to his genre.....his 1's aren't miley cyrus or justin timberlake......some are of bands he enjoys

@titan

im like 95% sure he just gave it a half assed listen then said " huh, i kinda hear a Genesis influence at some moments,band must not be very talented"

hence his dumb genesis comparison

You got a point there Titan. But still, I ask myself if he enjoys more listening to mediocre albums, or if he's really harsh in nature.

was really fucking good! i had awesome seats and the sound was incredible. setlist was awesome too. they played jabocs ladder, distant early warning, and xanadu among many other of my favorite songs. I also enjoyed their newer material stuff much more than i thought i would(was almost as good as their 70/80's material that they played imo). really awesome overall. they may look old in age but damn they played fucking insane!

When it comes to my rating system Titan has pretty much nailed it (thank you!! ), so no need to repeat it, I guess.

My comment was half a joke, of course, but there's also no denying that Marillion owe a lot to Genesis (and Peter Hammill, but since nobody knows him here I don't blame anyone).

I'm pretty sure most users in this thread know who Peter Hammill is.
