It is not Lilith on the cover but Ishtar, it is based on a carving found in 19th century if my memory serves me right there is often confusion about that because scholars first thought this to be Lilith but the common consensus now is it's representing Ishtar / Inanna.
There are some who claim this to be Ereshkigal but it's much more unlikely.
Knowing the band is knee-deep into Sumerian mythology, I'm pretty sure they knew about that.
Also, THANK YOU for that review, that album is so criminally underrated it hurts. I was a bit skeptical at first listening but it slowly grew on me to be one of my favorites.
