According to Sput, the more popular the album is, higher the avg

Sput also says H&H is 4th best Sabbath, after their first 3.
MoR and S/T are tied, but S/T has more votes.

Well, H&H is the 3rd most successful Sabbath album after Paranoid and MoR
|
| |
H&H is still my favorite Sabbath of the ones I've heard. Although, I admit it, I still haven't jam this one or MoR.
|
| |
H&H is top 3 for me at least.
|
| |
@MSLG: explain yourself.
@J!: change that hard man, both this and MoR are essential as fuck.

I'm talking about sales
|
| |
Interesting, I didn't know that H&H had surpassed almost all their other albums in sales. Inflation prob didn't affect those numbers much, since H&H was released 11 years after the debut if I remember correctly.
edit: 10* years.

I used to think H&H was Sabbath's masterpiece. Now, it's maybe number 7 for me.
|
| |
It's better than the self titled imo

Sabbath has like 8 albums that can be considered masterpieces, so yeah, ranking this band is difficult
|
| |
@danny: Aight man, will check this and MoR when I have the chance. I've also been meaning to listen to Dio's solo stuff for quite some time now.

Agreed hard MSLG. Good luck, Judio!

Heaven & Hell is 7th best Sabbath.
Nothing they did with Dio can touch the first 6 Ozzy-era albums.
|
| |
Sputnik disagrees.
|
| |
JT, was it easy for you to get into Ozzy Era Sabbath?
|
| |
Yeah, pretty easy.

Honestly, I think I may be starting to agree. But that doesn't make me love H&H and MR any less.
|
| |
Well for me 'twas an acquired taste, although you prob already imagined that. Just took time for me to realize how big Sabbath's impact was in the 70's.
