I listened to them today after a very long time, yeah they're quite trash but at least the bass is kind of decent and sometimes the songwriting shows sparks of genius although rather scarcely. Still an ok band somehow lol, I agree on 2.5.

It's one thing to say you don't like how the vocalist's voice sounds or you don't like him in general and another to say he can't sing for shit which is just moronic. The guy sings his ass off and he has a really good pitch, tone and control of his voice.

They're quite hateable, just like Tool, all thanks to their obsessive fanbase. If everyone agreed this is a 3.5 album then maybe the haters would disappear as well, but no, you have to remind everyone every second how legendary this album is (but really it isn't). It's understandable, you have to get used to the idea.
