Album Rating: 4.5

I totally get why this was seen as a disappointment at the time but the the things that made it stand out (rawer production, lack of vocal samples/radio broadcasts) give it an immediacy that is really necessary for the overall theme and tone of the album. More than any other Godspeed record you can feel the immediate anger. Not righteous anger (No Title), just wounded anger and hurt. It's a gem.
