Let's see if this thread hits 25 soon. More people on this site need to DP hard.

Definitely.

I wonder how many pages some threads could reach without comparing albums, not that I don't enjoy it.
|
| |
Bloodsucker and Flight Of The Rat are very overlooked tracks imo.
|
| |
Bloodsucker is my fave after Child in Time. Love the riff and Gillan's vocals are crazy
|
| |
Yeah, "which album is a band's best" discussions can get a bit boring over time, at least for me.
They tend to feel circular on this site anyways.
|
| |
That NOOOOOOOOOOO, NOOOOO NOOOOO NOOOOO!!!!! part is crazy.
|
| |
Bands like Pink Floyd and Opeth constantly come back to that discussion and it's pretty painful
|
| |
Dont forget Blackmore and Lord's solo trade off

It really is a shame how Gillan's voice sounded from Perfect Strangers onwards.

into the FIIIIIIIIIRE
|
| |
I think his vocals are fine on Perfect Strangers. Obviously he didnt hit the high-notes but they do the job.

Oh man don't get me started on Perfect Strangers. I really find that album painfully average. He got that nasally thing going on so obviously and he wasn't even 40.
|
| |
Oh so close to 25...
|
| |
But the song Perfect Strangers rules.

I think so.

I think most people would agree. Second favorite is probably Fools for me.
|
| |
Yeah, I think most DP fans agree on Child in Time being their best.

Yeah, Fools might be their second best, or When a Blind Man Cries
If we're talking about MkII, cause if we add MkIII, Burn would be up there too
