Best EP of all times is Gorguts's Pleiades' Dust, then Jar of Flies posibly...

Wait, if we're going with 'guts' Pleiades, I think I have to call with DsO - Chaining the Katechon. It is absolutely top 3 for me.

Oh yes you're absolutely right. I always forget DsO EPs because they're so incredible that in my head they are LPs. Kenose is also GOAT material. I have both at 5

"Afghamistam" is this band's musical crowning achievement. Everyone knows they made A+ metal/mathcore, but to actually create an atmospheric, subdued track that is still very much 'Botch' is something special. This EP is king.

How did Tim Latona not play in any other bands? This is monumental drumming from start to finish. He has the perfect balance of technicality and feel.

"How did Tim Latona not play in any other bands?"
Ennui of perfection. It's a hard life knockin' it out the park the first go 'round

If I'm recalling correctly, I think I read that Tim Latona went to pursue music teaching

That's sick! Hope he made a successful career out of being a music teacher.
