This does have substance; not alot by any means but I mean, they never once resort to that awful deathcore that most techy bands do when they run out of ideas.

I would call Obscura a good listen if you are into technical death metal. I wouldn't call them the best, I wouldn't call them amazing, but I would say that there are awesome songs on this album.

you should put this on right before you go to bed, you'll be out in like 5 minutes.

planetary duality is worse

How is Planetary Duality more technical than this? I mean, Planetary Duality has breakdowns where this doesn't.

^bass is cool. You should check out Orbital Elements on Cosmogenesis. At right about 2:20 theres this bass solo, not like that one, but good, and lasting for more than 1.4 seconds.
