His vocal melodies are more developed on SUK, but here his voice just has more overall oomph

Dude is a vocal god in any matter

The Jesus Christ Pose must be a yoga position somewhere.

Yeah, it's the yoga position Scott Stapp uses in all his music videos.

Haha! I dunno about that. DOTU's second half is a bit meh for me. It drags more than either this or Superunknown.

2nd best SG[3]

Close to a 5 actually. Quite a few prime cuts on here.

And yeah SH, it seems we agree about 90% on this band at the least.

Yup. SG's output is pretty interesting. Those guys wrote so many songs that they tended to make their albums TOO long rather than cutting out some of the weaker cuts to preserve overall strength. I wonder if they have any outtakes at all.

"DOTU's second half is a bit meh for me."

I always thought that "Tighter & Tighter", one of my favorites by Soundgarden overall, dragged for a good reason, it made the song come off as an epic force crashing through.

Kind of in the same way "Limo Wreck" does that on Superunknown, but even better.
