Sometimes I'm not convinced that The Chameleons aren't the greatest band to ever live

This album is perfect for rainy or foggy weather in late autumn. They chose atmosphere over technicality and it is ok for me that there are no guitar solos (or solos of the other instruments). But that is quite normal for post-punk music.

I think the first song Don't Fall sounds like a storm warning with much rain coming and they could have even named that song like that.



Other november-ish albums in post-punk are for example Opposition - Breaking The Silence and Echo & The Bunnymen - Heaven Up Here.



I could never listen to those albums on sunny days or even when there are only slightly sunny moments.
