I Can Tell would absolutely not have fit on this album, atmospherically or thematically.

I Can Tell is actually thematically basically the centrepiece of this EP

Green’s vox at his best on this Ep compared to anything else he’s done with other musical endeavors

He would probably be super pissed to hear you say that but would laugh it off cuz he’s a nice guy with no time for bs

Saosin actually had quite a few really good demos over their lifespan, the songs they did with Tillian Pearson were seriously kickass, especially Exfoliator. One of their best songs.

There isn't a single milisecond I don't think isn't perfect on this EP.

agreed @treb

wish they would re-release this with fully produced versions of Mookie and I Can Tell now that Green's back in the band (if he still is, I'm unclear on that)

would shell out big dollars for that

Oh my god I was just listening to some Saosin b sides and shit and Cove sucks shit through a straw. Dude has the very worst intuition of what he should do with his voice.

maybe its cos i’ve only heard him on their studio releases but i don’t get how cove is said to be such a bad vocalist he sounds fine on all their proper albums

On the Saosin album his voice is fine. I love that album. But I must have seen them like 6 times while he was in the band and he did get worse each time. I recall the last time it was actually kind of painful

Cove does not suck at all, he is absolutely capable of great vocals and he can write some great melodies and hooks. He just seemingly either never worked hard to maintain his voice to be consistently strong in performances like Anthony Green, and maybe had fluctuating confidence cos he had big boots to fill in this band. I really like his singing overall.

cove rules in the studio and i’m not seeing dead american live so cove is good at all that affects me

anthony is obv better but like that’s true with anthony compared to every vocalist ever
