Album Rating: 4.5
You know, it deserves it completely.
All the proper tracks are stunning, with classics like Forest of October and Under the Weeping Moon; and both In Mist She Was Standing and The Twilight Is My Robe being very high up there in the ranks of greatest Opeth songs and The Apostle In Triumph having great solos and beautiful passages.
Didn't 5 it before because of the interludes but they actually provide some nice diversity and are placed quite well, enhancing the flow of the album instead of destroying it (cough cough Tool cough). Plus the perfect bm/dm blend with super silly lyrics finish the package.
And that mean rating is atrocious!!!!!
