11 years worked out pretty well for these guys the last time, unfortunately this window has now passed. The hype will be uncontrollable if a new one drops, to the point where my expectations will likely be maddeningly unrealistic.

Yeah very hard agree. Since they so utterly and totally showed they were able to destroy all expectations with this lovely record, we know they're very much able to do it. But can they do it again? I can only imagine how hard this must be for them if they allow these worries to exist in their minds.

I do trust them though. They seem too dedicated to their music to release anything when they're not happy about it. But hey, there are those expectations again...

Woah, is this the most aggressive statement you've ever made?

I don't know if I'd consider taking over a decade to put out an album "dedication" tbh

Destroyed by love sounds good I think.

"Should be higher tbh." Agreed.

Would you call it laziness then Pots?

It depends! I just dont know how much of that time they actually spend on it. I sincerely doubt they are particularly active about working on it over 10 years. Probably slowly chipping away when they have the free time and desire to do so, mixes probably sitting collecting dust for months to years at a time

They strike me as the type of artists that would only really put in the hours when they feel inspired to do so. And if they arent feeling it too bad for us kinds deal

Yeah I think so too, I think they only work on it when inspiration strikes.

I really like that approach by the way. Don't want to rush them.

Quality over quantity

Hell, if an artist releases a new album every year I usually avoid them because it seems like too much work
