Sorry if I did anything wrong (though I don't think I did), I just don't like to see extensive discussions about me, my "position", my supposed superiority complex. Yknow? It's ridiculous.

I really want to hear more of his growls, they are literally brilliant, I never knew he could do them so well.

I finally listened to this all the way through. If I rated it now, it would be a four. Granted, that's what I gave Kezia when I first heard it. I'll listen to this more over the next few weeks to see how much it grows on me.

As of this very second, I like Kezia better.

I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but I love Rody's vocals and the bass. The rest is REALLY different from what I usually listen to.

"The guitars are almost relentless. I never hear many complaints about that in metal. And them drums are difficultas well."

Dunno if this was directed towards my comment, but you can't compare an onslaught of double bass beats to endless guitar riffs. One will always end up sounding the same, while the guitars can be switched up to remain fresh and enjoyable. Not that the drumming as a whole isn't enjoyable, I just feel that something is missing.

And does anyone else get annoyed by the way he sings "Hellbent on Heaven" in Sequioa Throne? Is that just me?

Im going to fucking rate this a 5, I've been a fan since the beggining also and I really think this album surpasses Kezia. how the hell did they do that? I`m trying to learn Spoils on guitar, that song and The Dissentience were my favorites.

Excellent review btw...This Message Edited On 01.27.08This Message Edited On 01.27.08

i'm not sure what my rating will be yet. i've been having this on replay for a lil while now and am impressed with just about every song. i also kind of think that the 1st half of the cd is better than the 2nd half, maybe the 1st half is catchier to me? idk. This Message Edited On 01.27.08

I think the first half has a lot more memorable parts, or maybe more listener friendly parts.

I agree although I'm only on Wretch, which along with Bloodmeat is my favorite so far.
