nah. Sometimes things just don't click for some people. I know plenty of people who just can't get into extreme music, and it's not from lack of trying.

Is it wrong for a band like this to have an abrasive vocalist?
There's nothing wrong with it, I'm just saying that the extent to which Bannon's vocals are abrasive make it harder for me to enjoy the music. It's just me, I'm not making any sort of objective statement about harsh vocals.

bannon has always sucked good thing his amazing lyrics make up for his vocals

His vocals are better than his lyrics.

His vocals did turn me off at first. Got used to it after awhile.

I've always felt if you enjoy one thing Jacob Bannon did it wouldn't be difficult to get into something else he did. The evolution of Converge in my eyes is mostly in the instrumentals.
his vocals sound different on every album to me, but yeah, their musical evolution is a lot less subtle album to album.

Bannon's vocals didn't need any growing for me. They just sort of clicked.
However, their random, spastic songwriting took a while to get used to.

Because of the title track, I've bumped this up to a 5. It's just... Words can't even describe. I've been listening to it obsessively for the past few days.
