Unwound are def noisy boiz compared to TJL. Whether its because their music was more chaotic at moments, they made use of feedback like Mort mentioned, different pedals for different effects, or hell throw in a crazy saxaphone. TJL really sounds like a straight-up punk / post-hardcore outfit

Nub was the first song I heard on this so I was expecting an album full of bluesy slide guitar and a similar pace, but was let down and as a result had a hard time getting into the rest of the album. It grows a lot overtime and the riffs start sounding much more significant. Monkey Trick is probably my favorite on this now
