I actually they nailed their melodies on this album. With the tracks, "Deathmask Divine" and "To a Breathless Oblivion." And the vocals on this album really good. I think they needed more variety in their leads, which is why I thought Ryan Knight was a good choice, but I feel like he is holding back a little bit. If he sticks with them, I think the next record could be much better. I mean, I dug Deflorate, but I know they can do better.

Never had the time to check out this band, but just gave it a spin. And I have to say, very good for its genre. Need to give it some more spins...

Trevor's vocals have never annoyed me or anything like that. I've always found his vocals to be awesome and very unique.

Shadow Remains i couldnt agree with you more on those last two posts
I love his growls and low vocals but sometimes the shrieks get a little overbearing. Necropolis is such a good song but it gets brought down for me by the high pitched shriek at the beginning

I personally love his shrieking vocals. They sound great to me. Just got a BDM shirt too.

Nice combustion. This is probably the best record they have done in my opinion.

The shrieking vocals are actually quite hard to do. Getting the right sound, that's not too bad. But maintaining it and keeping it strong is difficult.

Extremely difficult for me, I have a pretty low voice so getting it and holding it took a lot of work and vocal spray to get it right.

I like the high shrieking is difficult because you don't want to use your throat too much. That will strain your voice. I have been working on it for over 4 years now and you just have use the power from your stomach more than your throat. And growling, all from the diaphragm baby. I can do a whole set and then some and still feel no pain.

I haven't really been serious about doing vocals but I just figured I already growl/scream along when I listen to them most the time so why not post some on the internet? I can scream for quite awhile without feeling any pain but I last alot longer when growling. The only thing I have a really hard time doing is switching from harsh vocals to cleans mainly because I suck at singing in the first place.
