This album contains some of the most beautiful clean sections ever written imo.

Tommy's vocals are studio enhanced but by no means are they awful.

Live he sounds the same as he does on the record....And his screams have changed from the earlier albums, so I think he's developed some sort of decent technique, possibly.

I like his screaming, and I like whatever he does to make his clean vocals sound so angelic. I doubt he could pull that off live though. The clean parts of Sun of Nothing are among my favorite parts of the album, just by their serenity.

^^^Whenever I hear the silent section on Sun of Nothing I always feel like I'm listening to an entirely different band. So awesome

^^^ AGREEED.

Sun of nothing, ants of the sky, viridian, white walls, all have incredible clean sections that make me just want to cream myself.

Now that there have been 500 comments of people running their mouths about stupid stuff maybe I should change my review and rating to a 1 to irk the fanboys.

I Am Robots is right, you fanboys need to calm down.

This album is unoriginal, stale and kind of boring.

Still has great musicianship and what not but come on they need to take more risks.

Good album but Alaska pwns the shit out of this.

this was my first BtBaM album. it completely blew me away. musicianship is sick. the only thing i disliked was that some songs got stale in the middle for moments and became very unmemorable. but overall this album is truly great.

Same here, my first BTBAM album. I agree with this too:

This album is unoriginal, stale and kind of boring.

Still has great musicianship and what not but come on they need to take more risks.

And it's why I don't rate this a 5.

Musicianship is around a 4 but the final outcome isn`t.

i'm sorry that the country hoedown followed by harmonized guitar and screams and something that sounds like sesame street on a bad acid trip aren't good enough "risks" for you.
